Lilbourne Court is located just outside of the village of Clifton-Upon-Dunsmore on the outskirts of Rugby. This brand new Nursing Home has recently been built in the extensive grounds of our sister home, which is a long established Nursing Home called Clifton Court. However, both Homes are completely separate entities with their own staff, kitchen, laundry and administration facilities.
Similar to Clifton Court, our new Home is situated in a woodland setting with panoramic views of the surrounding Warwickshire countryside. The Home is a Nursing Care Home providing full residential and nursing accommodation with 24 hour personal care in a modern, comfortable and tranquil rural setting to clients who, by reason of advancing years, find it difficult to continue living by independent means. We accept permanent, respite, short stay and emergency admissions.
Lilbourne Court is committed to providing high quality residential and nursing care for its residents. Our highly trained nurses and carers understand the challenges facing the person and their families. By using frequent assessments of capabilities and requirements, our nursing staff ensure that the right level support is always in place to enable the person living in our Home to have a fulfilling life.
The new 36 bedded Home has spectacular southern views overlooking the surrounding open countryside and has been designed to accommodate palliative care residents as well as those with nursing requirements.
The ground and first floor levels each have large open plan lounges and also smaller seating areas for those residents who prefer tranquillity. Each floor also has a bistro area for families to sit with their loved ones whilst enjoying snacks and a coffee or two!
The palliative care unit on level two has large, spacious rooms each with a kitchen area, en-suite toilet and shower room facilities and each has a bed settee to allow the resident’s loved ones to stay with them overnight, if they so wish.
Each bedroom on the other two floors has its own en-suite toilet and shower facilities with the latest nurse call bell system and broadband access being installed throughout all areas of the building.
On the ground floor, there is a large dining room with its own sizeable kitchen and lovely views of the surrounding farmland where sheep and cattle graze peacefully.
The Home also has its own laundry and administration offices, shower and bath wet-rooms, a large modern passenger lift and easily accessible nurse stations. Outside, there is a large seated patio with adjoining lawns and a roof top garden, both facing south to capture the warmth of the Warwickshire sunshine.
We have a qualified and experienced care team who are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
We continually invest in training our staff which enables our care staff to gain QCF (Qualification and Credit Framework) qualifications in care. This helps us to continue to improve the care provided to all residents.
We offer:
We complete a pre-admission assessment to determine whether or not we can meet each person’s needs. This assessment is completed by a senior member of our company who details the potential resident’s requirements. The information is used to create a personalised centred care plan for the individual which is reviewed regularly with the involvement of each resident and if more appropriate, with their families.
Residents choose how and where to spend their time and are able to maintain their preferred lifestyle and daily routines.
We offer a well balanced, home cooked menu choice with fresh fruit and vegetables, home baked cakes, with personal preferences and dietary needs catered for. Additional snacks and refreshments are always available on request.
Our staff realise the importance of stimulation and have daily schedules of activities to aid motivation and help prevent monotony. In addition, independent companies visit to provide regular sessions of games, music and physical activities.
Lilbourne Court is registered by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the body empowered by the Government to regulate care homes. They inspect the Home regularly to ensure that high standards of care are maintained and the reports they publish can be viewed on their website.
